Tigers Volleyball Club are working to make our site accessible to people with disabilities.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of AA. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also:
-
Set the language of the site
-
Set the content order of the site’s pages
-
Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages
-
Added alternative text to images
-
Implemented colour combinations that meet the required colour contrast
-
Reduced the use of motion on the site
-
Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible
Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content
The accessibility of certain pages on the site depends on content that do not belong to the organization, and instead belongs to Volleyball Alberta and Volleyball Canada. The following pages are affected by this:

We therefore declare partial compliance with the standard for these pages.
Accessibility arrangements in the organization
Tigers Volleyball Club is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment for athletes, families, coaches, and visitors. Our programs are primarily conducted at the Prolific Sports House North and Prolific Sports House South facilities. Both facilities provide accessible entryways and parking areas designed to accommodate individuals with mobility needs. Accessible parking stalls are located close to the main entrances, and entry doors are designed to allow wheelchair and mobility-aid access. Interior pathways and common areas are designed to support safe and comfortable movement throughout the facility. The training venues include accessible washroom facilities and seating areas for spectators and family members. Where available, elevators or ramp access are provided to ensure access to viewing areas, courts, and other public spaces within the facilities. Tigers Volleyball Club strives to accommodate participants with disabilities or accessibility requirements whenever possible. Individuals requiring additional support, accommodations, or accessibility assistance are encouraged to contact the club in advance so that reasonable arrangements can be made for participation in practices, training sessions, meetings, or events.
If you have questions regarding accessibility arrangements or require specific accommodations, please contact TIGERS Volleyball Club prior to your visit or participation.
